Crown Reduction

This is the reduction of the overall crown of the tree, usually to improve light or reduce wind sail.

Removing the lower branches to allow light or remove obstruction.

Pollarding

Pollarding is a procedure where the tree is cut back annually or biannually to keep it at a certain size. City trees are often pollarded to restrict their size.

Evergreens

The reduction and removal of Leylandi and other Evergreen trees is rapidly becoming one of the leading enquiries in recent years. A boom in the planting of Leylandi and other Cypress trees in the 70’s and 80’s has led to many home owners having problems with their own trees out of control or trees from neighbouring properties. We have a number of solutions from minor reductions to large scale removals.

Stump Grinding

The removal of tree stumps using a rotating head with tungsten teeth to grind away the core of the stump to below ground level allowing for new planting, grass or paving.
